Spent most of the day making sand castels. Don't be over ambitious like me or the bunkers will eat you alive. Lovely course, beautiful condition.

Not your typical Florida course. Has hills, contouring and elevation changes, especially greens on hilltops, and excessive bunkering. In excellent condition and beautiful scenery by the Intracoastal and tree-lined fairways. More difficult than other area courses. Cart GPS was right on. Staff very friendly. Wish it was not so expensive.

Hills in south Florida who thought. Greens are too lumpy but greens were right speed that you have a chance .too expensive unless you get a deal

Excellent maintenance of course makes it a fun day. Advertising of 'play along the Intercoastal Waterway' applies to 3 holes. Bunkers are plentiful and got my attention. Didn't spend much time in them, but had to alter my shots and alterations caused some challenges. Over all a fair and challenging course. Greens were in good shape; rolled true.

Great tee boxes excellent fairways did not like the hills on greens to hard to get close to pins not knowing where to land

This is the third time playing this course. It has a fair amount of water, but nothing extreme compared to a lot of Florida courses. Lots of bunkers - apparently when Jack Nicklaus helped to redesign the course, he added a lot of sand. The bunkers are in only fair condition at this point. Challenging greens. Staff has been great on all three visits. Would recommend this course if you're in the area.

Very fair but tuff golf course. The greens are like billard tables but slower than the last time I played 2 years ago.

I would play here more often if I could afford it.

Billed as one of only two Jack Nicklaus designed courses in the country open to public play, the North Palm Beach Country Club was typical of Jack's design elements. The course itself was in sublime shape. I arrived early, had no other groups arriving for 30 minutes so went out myself. It was great experience and left me with plans to return the next day. Unfortunately my back went out on me and I was terribly disappointed to not be able to return.
The woman at the pro shop desk even made homemade cookies!

You should enjoy playing this course. A lot better than the other courses you will play in South Florida. Not another flat hole to hole layout. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the greens were slower than I would have expected. Get a good rate and try it, you'll like it.

Haven't played NPB for a year (this is my 3rd round here) but a little disappointed that the greens have been slowed considerably to 9-10 on the stimp when on the other times the greens were closer to 12-13 on the stimp. Told by marshall that the locals (ok, the old guys) could not putt on fast greens and were complaining loudly. Nevertheless, the high winds this day made for a challenging and pleasant round as well as the luck in drawing a congenial low handicap single as a cart mate. IMHO, Jack did a great job in this re-design given the relative flatness of the course. The vista from the 18th tee is especially great as it makes you do a double take and remind yourself that you're in FLA and not AZ.

Great views and some of the most challenging putting greens I have ever seen.

Course was in good shape. Slope was 131, but was not very difficult except for the greens. They are difficult almost to the point of being goofy.

Friendly staff. Very well maintained, almost pristine course bounded by intercostal waterway. Nice views. Excellent fairway and greens conditions. Very good pace of play. Thoroughly enjoyable experience with an upper mid range greens fees.

We had a wonderful round & will be certain to return. Course is very challenging but fair if you can keep it straight

Challenging but fair test of golf; best course redesign I have ever seen. This course is a Palm Beach County gem now.

The hills from the beach make this course very fun to play. There are a lot of elevated greens. Some flat holes challenged by wind from the water. Everything you need to keep up your game is on this course.
