About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business.
Cypress Creek Country Club in Boynton Beach offers classic Florida golf. The course is mostly open and it features wide, player-friendly fairways. The layout is notable for being Robert Von Hagge's first design. It is a traditional layout that casual players will enjoy but it has challenges in store for the low handicapper as well. The par 3s are quite lengthy and there are water hazards coming into play on a few holes. There are also a number of strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Five sets of tees make the course approachable for all skill levels. It is an excellent layout for tournaments or outings. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Creek also offers a driving range where golfers can get in some practice before starting the round.

You won't be sorry! Unless you drive by this course like I did for years.
For some reason, I always thought Cypress Creek was a typical "goat track"...Not so! I think greens are the most important feature on a course; and I was very pleased with them. Actually pleased with the maintenance of the course - tee to green. Moderately priced too. All the course you can handle, especially from the back tees.
Challenging course.
Nice course, we enjoyed it. A few water holes to make it challenging.
poorly managed and maintained
Starter allowed a single to pull up and jump out of cart while we were on 1st tee box. 1st cut on fairway was over 4" deep and swalled balls that were inches off the fairway. Two tee boxes are side by side going same direction and we had those players going to our green.
We play 2-3 times per week and found this the worst course we have played in years. Very inexpensive and still not worth the cost.
we have played Cypress Creek before and always find it to be a great course.
Unfortunately due to all the rain we have been having several holes were under water. Lots of water on the fairways so the ball just died once it hit the ground.
Decent course
The course was just okay. There are nicer courses in the area for the same amount of money.
Tees and fairways great - greens patchy
Some of the greens have patchy areas. All greens drilled recently with small sized drill and still a little bumpy.
needs water
not worth $25/round in this condition. Aeration ruins putts.
No back nine as it's closed and no one tells you that.
I sent it to customer service already. Someone needs to notify the customer when the course is only open for 9 holes TWICE! I would have NEVER played the course that way let alone PAID for it as others actually have 18 holes. Not happy.
Great pace of play, 3 of us, 3hours
We were received by a very friendly pro shop staff. Starter had us go off back to avoid conflict at the turn. Course was in good condition with fast greens. We enjoyed the pace of play and general variety of the course.
this course is not kid friendly
while i was preparing to set up my children for there tournament at us kids golf
we went into so called bar and grilled and went to the counter to order some pretzels with chips and a hot dog
when we where rudely and obnoxiously told of by the bartender and manager to go to a table and wait to be served
we where not going to eat in just grab some snacks and nice for the children
i guess neither of them have any kids because they kicked out of the golf course and told us to leave
my 6 and 9 year old girls where devastated and hurt
i try to teach my kids in the lesson of golf and proper etiquette in life and golf
so as you can see we will never return and we hope us kids cancels any future events there and go somewhere where kids are welcomed with open arms and minds
Good solid test for an average player
Course in overall good shape, with an interesting routing and nice diversity of holes. Greens are suffering from drought conditions.
Just enough water in play to make you lay up on occasion..Adds to the Challenge.
The fairways were in good shape and the great shape, soft like a carpet beneath your feet. The greens were good and and the speed was fine.
One of the best municipal courses in South FL
Wonderful to be surprised with this course. I loved the design and appreciate the 2 cuts of rough around the greens. Overall, in wonderful shape and a great walk.
Fairways are good condition greens were faster than I remember which was nice
This is a very challenging course from tips a great value for the price
Great course for all level players
This course has some challenging holes over the water, a great course to play on all levels. My favorite course. Staff is very friendly
Fairway are in great shape, greens need a little more attention, but all in all a fabulous day,
Very bad attitude in pro shop
When we signed in and paid, we should have been told that the three foursomes immediately before us were all walkers. We do not like paying for a cart and then playing at a walker's pace havering to wait on EVERY shot. It took 3 hours to play the front 9. When I asked for a credit for the back nine, they refused and told me to expect slow play when there are so many walkers. BUT THEY NEVER TOLDUS ABOUT THE WALKERS WHEN WE PAID.
Cypress Creek, remember, there are lots of place s to golf in the West Palm Beach area.
this course is well maintained.
this course is well maintained. the greens were some of the best i've played this year in south florida. I will play this course again real soon.
A decent public course.
This course is a good value year round. While never "pristine", it is always very playable. The 19th hole is friendly and casual
This course has great features
Goog course for relaxing, having good time, know nice people and play golf
This course has great potential but requires work on fairways
Staff is talking rough to customers , staff working outside the clubhouse.
Tee off one was delayed by 15 minutes and play was slow so only did 15 holes and we were supposed to start at 1420 hrs so we should have had plenty of time to finish but with no marshal on the course , play was slow.
