With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Course is in terrible condition. no grass to speak of in fairways or rough. Greens were inconsistent. Would not play this course again or recommend it to anyone. Previous reviews posted suggest it is in great shape. Hardly. Very clear lake of maintenance throughout course. Very disappointed it is rated a 4 star course.
Challenging layout
Course was in great shape and greens were consistent and true. Challenging layout with water on nearly every hole requiring an accurate tee off. Pace of play was good, tee boxes in good shape,
Mild complaint. No GPS on carts, no 200/150 markers anywhere.
Good course - bad pace
The layout is wonderful and the conditions are really good. The pace of play is terrible though. We were stuck behind a group of people playing two balls and taking 20,25 mins per hole. We called the starter to let them know but they didn’t even show up.
Great course
Had a great time!! Pace of play was good! Course was in great shape, but most of the tee box grass was a bit on the longer side . Sand traps were in great shape and overall it’s a great course. You can definitely make the course harder than it is! Will come back and play again!!
Not impressed
I decided to play golf here for the first time, and I have to say that I wasn't really impressed.. the course was messed up due to the lack of care. They had an old outhouse as a restroom, and everything was over priced. I will not be playing here again and won't recommend this place either. Very disappointing!
Tricky
One of those courses you have to play more than once because water comes into play in areas you can’t see. Frustrating to hit a good drive only to find water where you didn’t think it was.
Course has had a lot of rain recently and today which is why its conditions weren’t very good. Tough layout. Greens were really good.
Great value
Greens rolled very true course was in good condition will definitely play this one again
Beautiful course with nice layout
Played Madison Country Club Jan 11th. When we arrived we were greeted by the golf superintendent. We loaded our bags onto the carts and sent us into the clubhouse. The clubhouse was beautiful inside with beautiful merchandise. After leaving the clubhouse the starter sent us off to tee number one. The course was in very good condition. The layout was beautiful. The course is lined with Palm trees, bunkers, water, and beautiful greens. The balls on the green rolled very pure.
I would highly recommend Madison Country Club.
Nice course
Nice round. Course in good shape. Couple of narrow fairways and couple of 90 degree doglegs that require a good tee shot, enough to make it challenging but not to the point of being unplayable for the average golfer. Had a good time, will play again when in the area
