About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Okay
The layout of this course is wide open with very few hazards. The conditions were poor; soggy, thick rough with aerated greens that haven't been cut (or rolled) in a while. The GN Hot Deal did worn of aeration. For the $$, it's an okay place to play but don't have high expectations

A quick but relaxing round
This course is rarely bust on a weekday in the afternoon. It's a fun but challenging layout. There usually a breeze or wind coming off the intracoastal. I played alone and played in just under three hours. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. It's a good value too. I paid $23 through Golf Now. They have a summer special. You pay $30 to play 18 after noon. I will definitely continue to play here occasionally.

Lake Worth is a name that fits
The course is great. The views of the water make it almost therapeutic to play. Not too difficult of a field given there isn’t much water on the course. But I love playing here. The staff in the golf shop are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Golfnow hot deal more expensive than regular round
My hot deal was $27 plus fees. Guy i played with paid $19 plus tax

Very slow pace
They should not allowed group of 5 playing and also there should be a ranger making sure players are moving accordingly.

Great course great staff
Went out with my brother his friend and my young son. Great course and absolutely amazing staff. Pace of play was great too. The staff at the end was asking my son how he did and congratulating him on playing good just making it that much better for him being his first time on a course. Great to see people that make kids days and to try to get the youth into the sport will definitely be coming back to this course in the future

The Good and The Bad
Always an interesting layout but the condition of the greens needs to improve drastically. I'd bet the fairways were running faster on the stimp meter than the greens, about as slow as any greens I've ever putted on, the entire group was cussin' 'em. Weather was superhot (100°+, (hottest day on record reported that day) but mild ocean breeze kept it from getting out of control. Plese spend some $$$ to put this place in better condition, it would be a great destination course for locals and visitors alike.
