Hammock Creek Golf Club

Hammock Creek Golf Club is the first golf course in Florida designed by the father-son team of Jack Nicklaus and Jack II. The course, which has hosted several events on the Golden Bear Tour, is said to be a formidable test from the championship tees for even the most skilled players. The challenges, though they are subtle and give a seemingly spacious appearance to the course, are a force to be reckoned with. The layout features multi-tiered greens that play fast and rolling fairways that have generous landing area, but they can be misleading. Mature pine forests and native wetlands also come into play throughout. The design incorporates several interesting risk-reward opportunities and there are also five sets of tees to make it approachable to a range of skill levels.
