About
Located in the small community of Wellington, Wellington National Golf Club (previously known as Binks Forest Golf Club) offers a tranquil forest setting that is more reminiscent of a North Carolina course than a Florida course. After opening in 1990 to much acclaim, the course unfortunately suffered from poor management and closed for a period of time but successfully reopened in 2007 with a newly renovated 18-hole golf course.
The layout is tight and thanks to the abundant trees, very narrow at some spots. Mature pines line the narrow fairways and the greens roll fast and true. The course thoughtfully incorporates the terrain, utilizing the natural elevation changes and water features. The bunkers were strategically placed to make you really strategize your club selection and target. One of the most appealing aspects of the course is that it can truly accommodate all different skill levels with yardages ranging from 5,268 to 7,253.

Tee boxes non-existent. Driving range virtually non-existent. Putting green weak.
Fairways were.... well, fair. Greens were good. If you can get on for $18 or less, it has value. At $25, you'ld be much better off other places.
Great Time Good Honest Course
Had a great round of golf.Staff (Frank & Sean) were amazing. Treated me like ROYALTY!
Course was in good condition. Tee boxes need some work, fairways were more than playable, and the greens were in decent shape.
For $14.00 in May in Florida how can you BEAT IT!
Will definatley play there again & again.
Shot a round of 81 and I am a fairly new player.
I would reccomend this course to anyone who wants to go out and have a nice easy round of golf, with no pressure from other golfers and staff.

Best value in palm beach county. Fun atmosphere. Staff treats you like a human being. Terrific layout in best condition in years. I will return often. Northern style with lots of shade.

Tee box renovation
Work is being done on tee boxes which will be much improved. Greens rolled well. Overall conditions continue to improve. Chicken wings are among the best you can find. Great way to spend a day!

Good course, good price
This was our first time playing Binks Forest and we will definitely come back next year. The course was in good shape, except for a few tee boxes that needed attention and the staff was very friendly. A great value for the money.

A Great place to play
I love the course layout...prices are always so great...staff is very friendly.
The surface is not perfect, but truthfully most of us aren't good enough for that to make a difference!
For someone like myself who is going to go once a month and probably shoot in the mid-upper 90's, its an awesome place to go.

Good course for the low price we paid
The fairways were very dried out and the greens were very fast.There are a lot of sand traps around the greens that makes it challenging to get on. Overall not bad course for the price.

Course is ok- fairway is really bad, soft sand/mudd conditions throughout the fairway- the greens were not bad at all- rolls pretty fast but it needs some work. If you can't play the ball back and keep it straight then don't play. Each fairway requires a rear ball placement to hit it pure and long. If you place ball in the center of your stance, you will probably have a soft condition blowout.

Bien qu'ouvert sur le 9 d'aller, le 9 de retout est étroit, fermé par des arbres. Verts bien protégés, rapides. Manque un peu de gazon dans cetraines allées mais ce n'est pas un "champ de vâche". Beau trou pour terminer. J'aime jouer sur ce terrain.J'y retournerai certainement.

BF is not in its best shaoe but for 25 dollars it is ok, not bad. And it is not actually so far away.

Cart guy was very unfriendly and on course marshal was also a jerk. Server in grill was awesome, as well as the cart girl.

Second time
Greens were in very good shape and challenging. Fairways and tee boxes not so good but not terrible. Sand traps frequent and in decent shape. Good value for the $ in the high season.

Great comeback.
course has gone through some tough times but the resurrection is on track. Have seen regular, continuous improvement in playing conditions. The staff from the bag drop to the bar are very pleasant and helpful. Very nice layout.

needs work
greens were fairly fast but had littler clumps and tufts of grass sticking up and fairways were also patchy. Carts were in short supply but we did not have to wait long. Staff was friendly. Greens fee was inexpensive, so on that basis this is an okay choice if you are on a tight budget.
